Japan Makes Robot Babe for Lonely Men

Tagged Under : ,

Men love women – really?! I was surprised by the news that I heard today about a 15” tall girl robot that is made in Tokyo, Japan. This petite yet big-busted, friendly and battery-operated robot babe moves near you and kisses you on command. This $175 robot is expected to be released by September next year and this technology targets the lonely male portion of the market.

Robot Babe

She (the robot girlfriend) has infrared sensors and battery power that she uses as she enters her “love mode”, getting nearby human heads. According to the spokesperson of Sega toys, the makers of the robot girlfriends, they want to break the traditional concept of robots as something that is associated with toughness and battle. This robot is called EMA which stands for Eternal Maiden Actualization can hand out business cards for you, as well as sing and dance to keep you entertained. Sega hopes to sell 10,000 units of EMA Robots this year.

I just don’t know if this is going to be a good hit in the market. In Japan, maybe, because they are very particular with a patriarchal society where men rules and the women follow. Maybe we could just note women humans and robots.
